CURRENTLY HIRING

Are you a strategic storyteller who can balance “big picture” vision with hands-on execution? As our Communications Manager, you will join our leadership team to steer the voice of SLF. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll ensure our mission is reflected across all digital, print, and media platforms, helping us amplify our impact and reach those who need us most.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership: Develop and lead annual communication plans and KPIs that align with our organizational growth.

Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent, compelling “SLF voice” across all channels and oversee brand application.

Content & Storytelling: Lead the creation of digital and print content, focusing on impactful storytelling for fundraising and community engagement.

Team Collaboration: Identify and integrate communication efforts across departments, to ensure a cohesive organizational voice. Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director during campaigns or crisis planning.

A Skilled Communicator: You possess exceptional writing and editing skills and can tailor a message for any audience—from government officials to individuals in recovery to donors.

Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.

Mission-Driven: You have a deep sensitivity toward mental health issues and thrive in a collaborative, flexible environment.

Strategic & Detailed: You can jump from high-level annual planning to the fine details of a press release without missing a beat.

Why Join Us?

● Impact: Play a pivotal role in a growing organization that changes lives.

Flexibility: Enjoy a 22.5 hour work week with a hybrid schedule.

Culture: Join a team that values compassion, mutual respect, and “fixing the inputs” to create better outcomes for everyone.
