Silver Linings Foundation is currently seeking candidates for our board of directors, who have strong nonprofit governance experience.
We encourage individuals who have helped guide boards through governance transitions. In addition to board leadership experience, we welcome candidates who bring expertise in fundraising, legal, accounting and finance, government relations and advocacy, marketing and communications, or clinical or lived experience with eating disorders and mental health.

Communications Manager
CURRENTLY HIRING
Are you a strategic storyteller who can balance “big picture” vision with hands-on execution? As our Communications Manager, you will join our leadership team to steer the voice of SLF. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll ensure our mission is reflected across all digital, print, and media platforms, helping us amplify our impact and reach those who need us most.
Key Responsibilities
● Strategy & Leadership: Develop and lead annual communication plans and KPIs that align with our organizational growth.
● Brand Stewardship: Maintain a consistent, compelling “SLF voice” across all channels and oversee brand application.
● Content & Storytelling: Lead the creation of digital and print content, focusing on impactful storytelling for fundraising and community engagement.
● Digital & Social Media: Supervise our Social Media Coordinator, oversee website updates (Squarespace), and manage digital marketing efforts (SEO, Mailchimp, and Ads).
● Partner and Community Messaging: Draft and edit key communication pieces for targeted audiences.
● Team Collaboration: Identify and integrate communication efforts across departments, to ensure a cohesive organizational voice. Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director during campaigns or crisis planning.
Who You Are
● Experienced: You have 7+ years of progressive communications experience (ideally in non-profit or mental health), with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
● A Skilled Communicator: You possess exceptional writing and editing skills and can tailor a message for any audience—from government officials to individuals in recovery to donors.
● Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Squarespace, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
● Mission-Driven: You have a deep sensitivity toward mental health issues and thrive in a collaborative, flexible environment.
● Strategic & Detailed: You can jump from high-level annual planning to the fine details of a press release without missing a beat.

Recovery Navigation Clinic
Due to the expansion of services and continued growth in our Recovery Navigation Clinic, we are excited to invite applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
Our Recovery Navigation Clinic supports individuals living with eating disorders and their families by helping them understand treatment options, access supports, and navigate recovery pathways with compassion and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Work as a navigator, supporting clients within our Recovery Navigation Clinic
Provide guidance to individuals and families seeking information about eating disorder treatment options and resources
Assist clients and families in understanding how to access and navigate different eating disorder programs and levels of care
Develop personalized community treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and families throughout the recovery process
Conduct medical monitoring, including:
Orthostatic vital signs
Blind weights
Height measurements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and contribute to continuity of care
Participate in monthly team meetings, including:
Silver Linings team meetings
Nursing meetings with the Director of Recovery Navigation
Requirement Qualifications
Registered Nurse in good standing with CRNA
Current professional liability insurance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with eating disorders
Experience working in mental health
Strong skills in supportive counseling, client advocacy, and collaborative care
Passion for compassionate, recovery-oriented support
