Body Image Support (for Binge Eating)
(6 Weeks)
In response to requests from community, Silver Linings Foundation is now offering a new opportunity for adults who struggle with binge eating to address body image concerns. This 6 week support group is for adults who are struggling with binge eating to address BODY IMAGE concerns! This group is for adults that are 18 years and older. We will cover topics including, but not limited to, how to manage shame and guilt, challenging unhelpful core beliefs, negative self-talk, working to build a more positive relationship with you and your body, and communication skills. This is a supportive environment where you can speak openly and learn skills to manage the troubling distortions that are often associated with eating disorders.
It’s our goal to focus on creating support, to bring awareness to your relationship and thoughts about your body, and help to create more positive self-talk.
